An ETH Zurich Alum, Verhulst grew up in France and Switzerland. He has also lived on five different continents. While at ETH, he studied Mechanical Engineering, but he says that if he had to start a second degree, it would have been Anthropology. After finishing his Master’s degree in 2016, he worked as a Machine Learning Engineer in a startup in Tel Aviv. He has long felt a calling to start a new life chapter and his own tech company in Asia.

"Walking would have been too slow. And the car too fast,” he says about his bicycle journey. After arriving in Hong Kong in August 2018, Verhulst co-founded an industrial IOT and Blockchain engineering company in China.
